torn labrum

just got mri results back which state I have a tear of the far posterior aspect of the superior labrum...I go back to my ortho monday to discuss.

anyone have any experience with this? Very curios to know how long I will be out for assuming I need surgery.

I have heard differing views on this, just want to know what to expect. How long until I am back lifting my normal weight (bench, deads, squats)?

Thanks for any insight you can give.
