I WOULD SUGGEST EITHER SWITCHING TO PAUSE SQUATS OR RESTRUCTURING YOUR BOX SQUAT TO HAVE LESS OF A PAUSE AND SIT DOWN EFFECT...I HAVE HAD PEOPLE COMPLAIN OF THE SAME THING WHERE THERE WASNT A SERIOUS PAIN BUT A STRANGE PRESSURE, AND IT WAS FROM SITTING DOWN AND ALMOST RELAXING ON THE BOX, THEN BURSTING FORWARD MORE THAN UP, WHICH WAS A SHOCK TO THE KNEES
