IMO most people over train. If I were you I would make sure your workouts are 45 minutes to ocasionally 1 hour max. If they take longer cut some of the fluff out and stick to basic bar/ free weight lifts. Also you should bench and do triceps on the same day. I do 2 exercises for each body part and 3-4 sets per exercise, and dont waste your strength working up to heavy weights. Just get warm and go full throttle heavy for each set right out of the gate. Work each body part twice a week. This way you are going heavier than normal and working the muscles twice as often but doing shorter workouts so you shouldnt feel over trained. On your back do pull ups or heavy lat pulls, then finish with heavy bent over dumbell rows one arm at a time supporting your back with the other arm or hand on the dumbell rack. You should get the burn/pump you are looking for.
