I own joe weider's ultimate bodybuilding book too. I haven't looked at it in awhile( like four years) but i recall the routines were much like FLEX magazine type stuff. Personally all of them were too intense for me like I made no gains particularly being a beginner w/ about one year of lifting experience and an ectomorph. Probably my work capacity was just nothing, but as i recall suggestions are to go to failure which worked in the beginning but nowadays makes me weaker. If i was to use one of the routines now, w/ many more years of experience i would still burn out in about two weeks. To go to failure on any powerlift three times a week would just destroy me. If I were you and thinking of doing one of these programs i'd do a bodypart each day maybe like back and bis one day legs another etc.
