Good Morning Training

I started training good mornings recently. I have trained them with a normal power bar, buffalo bar, and a safety squat bar. My question is how far should one go down with the safety squat bar? I noticed that if you bend over too low that the weight rolls up the neck towards you head! The next day, my neck felt like it got a harder workout then my back. I don't seem to have this issue with the normal bar or the buffalo bar. Any input is appreciated.
