Bench press training 5 days a week; that's insane.
I went from 180 to 220 with creatine and time at the training table aka food.
I noticed some immediate strength gains on dhea; first week I was on it my seated behind neck shoulder press went from 5 reps at 225 to 8-10 reps at 225 and 275 for a max.
I used to pride myself on being able to incline bench press 315 lbs. on the incline bench press; anytime I did inclines it was always after heavy benching so I probably never reached my full potential on the inclines as my mucles were already tired from heavy benching.
When I'm training with very heavy weights; I can't go boom boom boom like the bodybuilders do one set after another without any rest inbetween. If I train too fast my strength goes down succesively.
All I really ever shoot for are double bodyweight bench presses; I can't lift anymore than that. Those guys that do triple bodyweight bench presses; dough heath; marcus schick; that's crazy.
A lot of the gyms in the san francisco area stink; so many fitness people, overcrowded, aerobicizing crowd, homosexuals, women and men that stand around and do nothing, etc. I can't take that kind of gym.
