I have filled out my entry form for the CT Open Bench Press on March 19th... the only space I left blank is my weight class. Right now I weigh 200 pounds and I say to myself that losing 3-4 pounds isn't too difficult. But then again my weight has been creeping up slowly, plateauing for a few weeks then creeping up again... Who knows, by the time of the meet, I could be 205 or so.
Should I plan to lift in the 220 class or take a chance and try for 198?
