Today's workout went alright despite the 5 pound increase on each lift. Squatting went well, benching was excellent, but when it came time to deadlift... I just didn't have it. Two sets and I just gave up.
I am thinking of adjusting the volume as 5-8 sets of SQ and DL are called for and I've been pushing for 8... looks like Wednesday I'll hold back on the squat to do better in the deadlift.
Or I could modify the whole routine, so that I squat 1st on Monday, bench 1st on Wednesday and DL 1st on Friday...
Maybe Alberto or Colin have some suggestions?
