may 17th was the happiest time of our lives when our son made the 2008 olympic team by going after the 3rd slot that was formally announced by usa weightlifting. casey needed 404 total to make that team and he performed the way he needed to perform and made the lift. outstanding!!! we were very ecstatic that he was going to be an olympian after 14 yrs of hard work and dedication!!!

this morning we found out that casey will not be lifting in the 2008 olympic games! talk about peaks and valley's. casey is very upset! leslie and i are very, very, upset!
