Slots criteria vs. selection criteria

The problem is that the criteria for earning points for slots is different than it is for making the team. Therefore the two will never line up identically. Someone will always feel like they got robbed.

If the selection criteria was based on a percentage of weight lifted for the 10 place finisher instead of the 1st place finisher, Casey would obviously be the only male lifter who approaches 100%.
