Funny question is there really any doubt
Burgener...10th @ worlds in 2006 and 11th @ worlds in 2007. He should have already earned his position on the 2008 Olympic team. After all wasn't it his placings that earned the mens spots. To me its beyond belief that he may not make the Olympic team. Its like deja vu all over again, might as well be in 1968.
Burgener should be focussed on the task at hand, not trying to make some number for a trials.

Does anybody realistically think a US male will place better than 11th in Bejing?? Look at world numbers.
Whoever makes the team it should be interesting to see who does BETTER at the Olympics than these trials.

If those lifters hit those numbers that Rob Horvath suggests it puts them about 20th in 2007 world rankings.
