With all due respect to the great Alexeev and Andy Bolton, Rigert was, and may always be, "the lifter's lifter," be it olympic or power.
I read somewhere that he could run 100 meters in 12 seconds, which is amazing.
I also remember his lumbar muscles were so developed that they looked liked pecs.
