Megan, thanks for the compliment and you are right, there are many out there in weightlifting land that have the desire and ability to contribute to improving this sport and I think the "Arnold Expo" model and the active LWC's, such as the Columbus organization, is just the right blueprint for some motivated individuals to organize the troops and take matters into their own hands. It would be nice to have a million or so in seed money to spread around to grease the wheels, so to speak, to get the ball rolling, but the USAW is the only organization I know of with that kind of clout, and it appears they would rather use it to gamble on the stock market instead of investing in growing the sport at the local level.
