However brief, it is a great insight to historic lifting. Notice how strong these men were...they muscled up those presses with no body motion and quite rapidly too.

Also notice how the earlier lifters had to use far more 'arms' during the pull, since no brushing of the bar with the body was permitted.

Wonderful old footage!
