You guys are right. If we were to make serious suggestions, Jim Schmitz would have to be high on the list. You mentioned all of his Coaching Credentials, but you failed to mention he current is the Instructor for all the Club Coach and Sports Performance Courses in our LWC. Last weekend, we (I assist him most courses) drove 6 hours to Humboldt State and gave the Course to 32 coaches. And this weekend, we'll be in Livermore to teach another 2 dozen.

So he has a firm grasp on the current state of Coaches Education and says he's wants to be on the Coaches Committee to help make it better (fix it). And as many know he's written training articles for years for Milo magazine, so I believe that he could do the update on the courses.

And one important thing to add is that he sees no need for our High Performance Director to be the Team Leader for all (or maybe any) International Tournaments. He believes the person in that position should be home educating other Coaches.

A drawback may be that I'm not sure he'd be willing to move to the Springs. BUT, honestly, in this day and age of high speed internet and video conferencing, does the High Performance Director really have to be in Colorado?

BUTCH!
