Curve Ball

I found throwing a curve ball pretty easy. Hitting one wasn't that hard either - except for, in high school, the first time I batted against a pitcher that was being recruited by the Phillies! The pitch exploded at my head, I curled up into a little ball in the dirt, then I heard the 'pop' of the pitch hitting the catcher's mitt.

Weightlifting, along with its fairly unforgiving technical demands, is SO MUCH MORE physically demanding than baseball! I think absent being something all your buddies are doing, such a difficult sport is facing some major recruiting challenges.
