Interesting discussion regarding the legality of these lifts.

Even though historically a non-attempt has been declared if the bar didn't reach the lifter's knees, I don't think "anything goes" would be allowed below the knees. I guess it is a matter of rules interpretation but as Don says, the problem should be corrected.

One thing seems clear, however: The kid appears to have huge potential as he is very young and seems to be almost a muscleless wonder. Put some weight on him and big lifts may result!
