It could be argued that never in history has so much money been spent on the advertising and purchasing of any merchandise, with so little knowledge of the product itself, on the part of either the seller or the buyer, as has been spent on vitamin supplements. Most people know very little of how supplements are made, their characteristics, their attributes, THEIR SOURCES, their advantages and disadvantages, and how to tell one from another by reading the label.

Many studies have shown the ill effects of vitamins. Vit C induced atherosclerosis, Vit E and increased rate of stroke. These are not bogus studies, but rather bogus vitamins.

Vitamin C is not Ascorbic Acid as we have been lead to believe. Vitamin C is a wholefood that contains ascorbigen, biflavonoid complexes, tyrosinase, P factors, K factors and J factors just to name a few. Vitamins in their natural state always exist as living complexes with specific synergist co-factors, enzymes, phytonutrients and organic mineral-activators, and never as isolated single factors. (never as ascorbic acid or alpha tocopheral)

If you are taking sythetic vitamins, you are essentially taking dead chemicals processed in a lab that should be labeled as drugs and not vitamins. The only source of vitamins that will lead to long term wellness and health are organic wholefood vitamins. Synthetic vitamins might give you a short term burst of energy, or precieved feeling of health, but just like with sythetic drugs, sythetic vitamins produce toxins, toxins depress the bodies immune system, and a depressed immune system leads to dysfunction and disease.

Throw away your multi-vitamins and eat an apple!!!
