I have a sample of ballistic tile and have seen the rubber on the Werksan and Dynamic Fitness. I have made a platform using sport tile from rubber-cal, the sport tile is softer then the ballistic and cost cheaper then the ballistic tile. I do not know how it will last.

Since you have seen the ballistic tiles used in platforms, do they reduce the sound and impact to the floor below.
