In Response To: New Research (Or Conspiracy?!): Multivitamins Bad? (Mark Haz)

"Researchers conducted a meta-analysis of existing studies, pertaining to more than 200,000 people, and found that antioxidant supplements--vitamins A, C, and E; beta-carotene; and selenium--do not prevent heart disease or cancer, do not forestall death, and may even increase mortality risk slightly."

Which researchers and which foundations holding shares in Big Pharma---may have funded the study? A study can show whatever the bias of those who fund it start out with.

Yes Big Pharma resents that nutritional supplements aren't by prescription only so we can be gouged more deeply.

"AN ACTUAL PHYSICIAN!!!" Gee, that's like saying, "an actual Inquisitor" in 1558!!! Be advised, this will be my only reply to you in this thread. I will limit my responses to one only because a running battle does no good.

Ther subject matter has relevance to lifting, however, since the state of the body has a lot to do with available strength.
