Yes, the boys, like hamsters on a treadmill, just keep doing the same things they've always done. This "search" for a High Performance Dir. has...hmmmm...let's say...very specifically customized criteria (VSCC), as did the bogus criteria these same boys came up with for the olympic coaching job, so they could eliminate certain people and give it to who they wanted to in the first place.
The only real difference here is that this job is totally unnecessary and will cost the usaw more money and the person will do less than an olympic coach. But, "doing less and making it look like more" is the mission statement of this board and admin.
Or is it, "keep it in the family"? By the way, is there anyone working for the usaw(other than office staff) who hasn't lived at the otc and/or been on the board and/or worked for a board member and/or dated someone from the above mentioned groups of people?? (there may be one)Again, back to an old staple of mine. Give me one smart teenager, an Apple computer and this NGB could be run better from an attic, on 1/5 the budget.
All the things that have kept this sport back are sitting on our board and in the offices at the OTC. Eliminate them and the sport will grow.
