I just love the "This person will be the Team Leader at all Major International Events; Olympic, Pan American Games, Senior World Championships, Junior World Championships and Grand Prix Events"

What has that got to do with the position?

What about spending some time in the Office and getting some High Performance stuff done?

And I do like the Application deadline, Aug. 29th. That's the Friday after the Closing of the Olympics. Now if all things go according to the USOC Plan, the NEW BOD would be seated the Monday of that week and get to decide on the new hire. But I certainly hope the Bylaws Committee does the job we expect and doesn't succumb to some artificial time line the USOC has in mind.

So not only will the Old BOD have defined the job, they will probably be the ones to do the hiring. What a great last shot!
