Your better off because the science behind it is better (which is to say it really exists), and PT's (or even better a real PM&R doc + PT) actually try to diagnose the cause (as opposed to merely treating symptoms with "manipulation").
Chiro's have a good lobbying effort with government/insurance industry, so they have a higher legitimacy than they should.
I know many of you have had success with them, but you probably would have had even better results (and a chance of actually finding and fixing the cause of your problems) with a Physical Medicine specialist...
