Tom, I went to a chiropractor one time way back during my lifting. This turned out to be one of my wildest experiences during my lifting career and it happened in a Doctor's office.
At that time I was weighing somewhere around 330-335 with thighs that were 341/2 or so and this Doctor weighed around 130-135 lbs.
I had a little kink in my lower back which turned out to be a pulled muscle.
I couldn't help but start laughing when he started to work on me trying to tug, push and pull on me while I was on a table. I ask him if he thought he was capable of handling and helping my big butt. He said he would certainly give it a shot. What really topped it off was when he was pushing my right leg to my chest with my knees bent to stretch or try to adjust my lower back. All of a sudden it hit a nerve and Wham-O I kicked that leg out while he had a hold on it and he went flying across the room and onto the floor he slid into one of his cabinets that they had supplies in. I yelled out the word SH-T when it happened and luckily he was not hurt and survived that sudden jolt. I didn't mean for something like this happening and apologize to him.
He was very nice about it and said he was so sorry that he could not work on me as I was way to big for him to handle and did not charge me for the bill. Just one of my legs weighed as much as he did.
It would be like a squirrel trying to pull on a grizzly Bear's leg that was out of socket trying to get it back in place.
Thought I would share this with you and sometimes I still think about that crazy day with the chiropractor.
