Alright, so they don't take drugs to beat clean athletes, only to beat the other cheaters. So, its really not cheating because anyone who is clean is inherently inferior and doesn't matter. Its easy to see why we are going nowhere when so much of our own fan base and administrative/coaching base believes Americans are inherently inferior and incapable of being good at lifting weights, some sort of cultural racism seemingly. Its strange that the same people are the ones claming that we can medal/win clean anyway but it appears they have a good story for why thats true at the same time that drugs wouldn't help us and don't really help those who take them. Of course, adding 10-15% to my or some of our other elite's like say Bryan Jacob, Shane Hamman, etc would mean more money and more support, a lot more. It would mean I could immediately focus my entire life on lifting, something thats never been possible. But, sure, that has nothing to do with the drugs either.
No wonder there really has been no persistent, honest fight to level the playing field. If you believe having a level playing field is unimportant because its impossible for the inferior Americans to win anyway, then it makes sense to view drug testing as a waste of time and money.
