Piserenko and Kurlovitch were caught smuggling drugs in Canada which would earn them more than their meager stipend from a communist gov. You can't call just one lifter a cheat when they are all cheats. Very few weightlifters make it to the World stage unless thier aon drugs. And most are willing to take drugs to provide for thier families which means winning medals. Remember the controvery over Alexeev's weighin in Montreal? Have you read what Taranenko has said in interviews? Do you even come close to understanding the plights of athletes in/from former communist countries? Ponder that and quit typing this narrow minded pious crap on this forum.
