Nice post! Nice job! When we put on the Americans in 1993 in San Anselmo, Calif, Archie Williams (Jessie's teammate in '36) was our Guest of Honor. Archie, I believe, was the bronze medalist in the 400 meters and taught at Drake High School in San Anselmo where we held the meet(The high school was also where we had our training center). In 1996 Drake High School put two alumni on the Olympic Team (one being Tommy Gough).
