with the same respect you'd like to be treated with. Respect does not mean walking in lock step together on every issue though. Most people are my friends in spite of themselves, visa versa for them I'm sure. It's hard to make old friends, so I hate to lose one..

I don't need a friend who changes when I change and who nods when I nod; my shadow does that much better.
