I saw it on TV. Lucas McCain would have wanted one. Yeah, it could have taken the Emperor down. But the thread was about man to man, not weapon versus unarmed man. So he still treats any man today like a child, could the contest happen.

My understanding is that police departments everywhere are unhappy as to the existence of this rifle.

But then, they feel no one should have guns but themselves. There was an uproar in Arlington Texas a few years ago when the Six Flags amusement park tried to ban cops from having weapons on their persons (when they were there as guests to ride the rides.)

If a ride jostles one of these hostile bullies about too roughly and his gun discharges---maybe the safety is defective---and a mother of four gets it in the spine, well, that's just tough.

This group of people, who calls the rest of society "civilians," as if they are a military occupation force ruling over us, rather than "citizens," a word suggesting that we have Constitutional rights, (that men like Andrew Jackson fought for us to have)---wants to be exempt from rules governing the rest of society.

No, they don't want anyone else having any guns. If you die they'll investigate after the fact. I bet some scared folks in Virginia recently wished they had a piece on them, to shoot back with. Did the cops save any lives because only they, and the shooter had guns? It doesn't much look like it!

A police state is no alternative to an occasional bad misuse of a firearm.

Unfortunately, by its very nature, police work attracts to its ranks bullies on a power trip. When the police break laws, consequences should be more, not less severe, because they are supposed to be "shining examples" and have then desecrated society's trust.

I had a neighbor killed because a cop couldn't stand to let a speeder get stopped by radioing ahead to let someone else do it.

I am sure others here have seen their own mountain range of proof that these roving tax collectors have seriously disgusting personalities.

Am I suggesting the alternative to having police, is to allow anarchy? No---rather, I am suggesting tightening of accountability; and pre-hire psychological testing, to see to it the wrong people aren't trusted with their power to abuse, mistreat, falsely accuse, and take life.
