NBC is an American Broadcasting company so of course they are going to show the Americans. Unfortunately, you are right in a sense that people are caring more about looks and the "story" more than they care about the performances. Tatiana may be smaller than me, lifting more than me, and have boobs (which I don't understand why that matters), but she still got beat out by Zhou. She is not traditionally "feminine" either. If you're going to give people props, let's give our Olympic Champion some.
Everyone seems to also forget that Tatiana got popped when she was 15. When she got off of her suspension, she was breaking Jr. and Sr. World records. Hmmm People disregard what we're up against internationally.
The desire to have feminine clothes and having breasts has no impact on my or anyone's performance. If you want to hear and see less about the way people look and more on ho they perform, you should talk about performance.
I'll talk about mine: I opened up with my personal record snatch with 114 kgs then moved up to 118, missed it to come back with a 6 kgs PR. I opened up with 2 kgs under my best clean and jerk. Unfortunately, I had 2 misses. I moved up to 145 and made it. In the process, I got a 7 kgs PR and took 7th. The highest out of any American again, for the 4th year in a row. I would say after looking back at the footage I'm good for more. Internationally, I could and plan on being a top 5 if not 3, finisher. All while being clean.
Maybe you should grow a pair of boobs and represent USA in the highest pressure athletic situation in existence and show me how you'd fair.
