platform inside demensions

What are your inside dimensions of the layer of wood. I am building another platform using 1.75 inch thick rubber tile and most platforms wood middle insert are either a 3, 3.5 or 4 feet. If I use a 4 feet long middle insert it will save on the cost of rubber. What do you think? My other platform has a 3 feet

The size of each rubber tile is 2 feet x 2 feet
