Megan - I agree with what you say, but, these people would all have some degree of conflicts, according to Butch. They would be friends of friends, lift or coach for certain teams/clubs, and would not have the degree of detachment that he seems to be looking for.
So, you might just be trading one set of conflicts for another, as almsot anyone actively involved with our sports has conflicts on some level. AS I understand Butch,the moreremoved from the process, i.e., an outsider, the better he/she is.
MY point is that outsiders have no reason to invest the time, ewnery, and money to get involved that deeply.
I AM STILL WAITING ON THE LST OF OUTSIDERS AND THE LIST OF NGB'S WITH ALL THE OUTSIDERS THAT BUTCH HAS SPOKEN OF MANY TIMES. I ASSUMED HE HAD A LIST OF SEVRAL IN HIS HEAD, AS MANY TIMES AS HE HAS SPOKEN OF IT. - Marty
