You all make some good points from your various perspectives. What may be missing is knowing we have several MBAs in our membership and some with sports administration experience. Another MBA has a sports law background with practical Weightlifting and promoting/fundraising expereince.
Holding an MBA alone should not qualify anyone for this position. What one has done with the MBA and a sport (ours or anothers) should be a large factor. I think you might be surprised at the background of some of our own Weightlifting members...
