Your right about slow left tackles getting their behind whooped. I work with a man who is officiating todays bowl game with Cinncinnatti - Western Michigan. He will be the Head Linesman and in charge of the chain gang and line of scrimmage,pass interference,ect... Jack Teitz is his name. The holding call in pro football by big @ss left tackles shows the players weakness. I don't think Anthony Munoz had that problem, that is being caught holding. Anthony was an all-pro at holding. He was so good, most officials didn't think he had to hold his opponent to win the play. I was just hee-hawing with Brown fans and not you. You are right with your statement. I just understand how the rule changes has brought a change to football as we older guys once played. High school coaches are shown a film each year about keeping the head out of tackling, that is not LEADING with the head up technique. Gave up the head (neck injuries/head) and gave the player the use of hands, inside the frame, open or closed hands that is...for safety reasons of course!
