Wolf:

The pic with Butch, Nick & Serge was taken in 1974, as mentioned, at Montclair State.

Serge was just the opposite of Alexeev in personality, being very humble about his own vast accomplishments while lavish in his praise for otyher lifters.

Also on hand that afternoon, were Phil Grippaldi, Art& JoAnn Drechsler, Jim Curry Sr., and me. What a shame that Serge died a few months later...the first man to snatch 400lbs, (402).
