Don, there is a whole thread about it, type I have copied one of the many posts of it below. So for me it`s really interesting what kind of reputation Dr. Mel Siff has as a witness. Cause if true that`s ironhistory in its most fascinating form, inhuman strength imho.

I do not know exactly what the Redding Claims that Dr. Mel Siff has made but this is my story.
This was about 1972 or 1973 and I recall when arriving at the Gym, Dr. Mel Siff who was the head coach, approached us saying that if we had arrived 1 min earlier we would have witnessed Serge Redding Squatting 400Kg which is 880 lbs for 3 or 5 reps. In total disbelieve all the other people who had witnessed this confirmed that this is what he had just done.
Does this match up with the Claims that you know of ???
