"I am in agreement with you and was not trying to challenge your intelligence."

I didn't think you were "trying to challenge (my) intelligence."

"I was just trying to clarify further the reasons I made that statement."

That is what I thought you were doing.

"I have been told by athletic trainers that athletes with certain knee injuries are not allowed to do certain dynamic movements, but are cleared to participate in their sport."

Just like the following comments (sarcasm, not directed at you)-
{Of course those movements on the field are so much less dynamic and so much safer than the other "certain dynamic movements" are}.
-My earlier comments were not directed at you, but at the faulty beliefs and those who hold them.

Also regarding "certain dynamic movements" they could (under certain circumstances) be completely correct.

"So I apologize if you felt I was mocking your intelligence, I was just trying to be clear with my statement."

No apology needed, I didn't feel that way. I apologize if you felt that my earlier comments were directed at you.

No problem for me at this end. It would take a lot more than that to bother me even if it was your intent.

It is the nature of this forum (or most any on-line forum) for implied meanings to be easily misunderstood.
