The former Joint Chief of Staff and Secretary of State Colin Powell showed up at Lift for Life Gym today at 3, and he came in took pictures and toured the gym. He gave a speech to the entire gym, during the speech he started talking about a scrawny kid he met 7 years, and how this scrawny kid(he was joking) was about to graduate from college and how he had his sights set on the Olympics. He was talking about me and I thought that was great. He came to Lift for Life 7 years and he decided to come back because he thought this was a great program. I just wanted to share this because I thought this was a great thing he did. I have pictures that I will post later.
