Loss of best friend

To all:

Not to sound all mushy cushy and not to take too much of anyones time becuase this is not a weightlifting subject or is it.

In all my years of training my best friend has always listened to me, she has always given me here full attention and always come when I needed her.

She has been faithful year after year, showing me love and affection even after I just yelled at her for the littlelest thing.

She stood by my side as a road raged idiot tried to jump me, she was so quick to jump between the perp and me...protecting me at her own risk.

She came to my side when my wife and I were on bumpy grounds and was able to back away so my wife and I could cuddy again.

In all my years with her she never tried to harm anyone in my family and she protected my children from running in the road and my family during my late overnights at work.

She treaded through rain, snow and ice just to make it to my car door to say good bye to me or hello on my return from work.

She was so brave in her last hours, winning when I was away and being still and holding up her head when I came near...as if to tell me not to worry she was ok.......even though her site was nearly gone and her hearing was only at 10%.......

I only pray that I gave her as much fun, love, and loyalty as she gave me throughout the years.

To anyone who has lost a pup they reared from birth my heart goes out to you all. The loss of a dog is so very hard.

It is kind of weird, but neat the first eyes my dog Cleopatra saw as she came into this world was mine and on her last few hours with me I laid by her side looking into her eyes for the last thing she would see....I still could feel her sending me her loyalty and in her eyes....I will be ok......

Please rest in peace Cleo, I will miss you forever 13+ years is a long time for a GermanShepherd.

Thanx to all that took time to read.
