James is a very intense guy with a lot heart on the platform, there is no doubt about it!! It just looked like he didn't follow it down! Coach Burgener made the statement that this lift would have passed in International meets, etc... I to agree that it would have after being at the world championships the last 2 years.. The US is a lot more strict than other countries and go by the rule book! I have had lifters called for the same infraction before myself. I didn't see a elbow unlock from the back of the room.
