Well done!

I had to make the same choice when I was in college. I totally understand her dilemma.

I was a professional-level and sometimes pro trumpet player. After two years in college including being on the crew team, trying out for rugby, the UC Symphony Orchestra, and the UC Jazz Ensemble, I realized that I needed to pick a direction or perhaps never have time to graduate.

I went jock. That choice was awsome for me: Four Varsity letters and four national collegiate championships in rugby, four national club champinships, a twenty-year rugby career that led me to weightlifting and a lifetime of memories.

But I do miss music performance from time to time.

Your daughter is very talented. I hope she continues to develop this talent if its what she loves. She'll never regret it.
