Mike, I am so sorry to hear this distasteful news that Casey will not be competing in these Olympic Games. Seems like to me that we have some of our own sorry ass people with no "BACKBONE" that is responsible for trying to prevent this from happening. They need to have their "ASSES KICKED OUT" of the their positions in our Federation right away! This is a total DISGRACE to our sport of Olympic Weightlifting here in our country. I am so upset and mad I can't stand it and I am so ASHAMED at those responsible for letting this happen to a fine young man that worked so hard and dedicated everything to be able to represent our country in the Olympic Games. He earned that in the trials and damned well sure deserved to lift!
I will watch the coverage of our USA lifters lifting in these Olympic Games and cheer them on but will not care and Will not watch the other classes and for sure not watch the Super heavies lift!
Casey, I am so sorry and please keep your chin held high and also sorry that you did not have real men in our federation that would not have enough balls to go to bat for you. I know that you did have many including myself, your dad and many others that stood up for you but the ones that should have counted just sat on their stucked up corn cobs and did not go to bat for you. They will soon be gone and good no good bye's to them all!
Please don't let this discourage you to make any hasty decisions and give up now! This is not what a real Champion as you are would do! I know you feel terrible and this is to be expected and I wish I could be there for you and your dad at this difficult time but my thoughts and prayers are with you and all that supported you in your efforts.
Please excuse my French on this post but I am very well Damned pissed off and very much ashamed of the ones responsible for this happening.
