I think you are right on here. If pressouts were allowed, I can't even begin to imagine what kind of so called jerks we would see. Not to mention the associated injuries that would follow. I kind of believe "if it looks right it probably is right" to some degree. Pressing out smacks of inefficiency and as far as esthetics is concerned, it would be ugly.
