3-time OLYMPIAN Mario Martinez lives in San Ramon.Dublin area near Bay Area...about 30 miles from San Francisco and I believe still works in S.F. He occasionly attends a Bay Area meet. He weighs around 110kg.

I remember in talking with him recently he mentioned that after Kratchev(sp)[BUL] Snatched 215kg for a World Record back in the eighties....Mario went to Sports Palace the next day to get a feel for that weight and did an OVERHEAD SQUAT with 215 KG at the SPORTS PALACE...S.F. ..... try that sometime.....!!!! Remember, first you have to jerk it to get it to arms length...geez..... then squat it with a wide grip.....yikes !
