Yes, I knew he had those exibitions in Norway. When I've talked to my dad, who was 6'3", he said when he stood next to him, Torkal was only an inch or maybe two taller than himself, and also that Torkal was advertised as you said to be 6'8" and 400 pounds. I know my dad has a newspaper article from Norway advertising the event, but I dont know exactly where it is so I'm not sure about the date either. 848 for my dad seems right, I've heard it before. Anyways thanks for all this info, I dont normally get to hear what he was like from anyone besides him, and he's rather modest so things like 'he was a legend!' are good to hear.
