I have a bachelors degree in Physics and Mathematics from Eastern KY University and I was a nuclear engineering office in the US Naval submarine force and taught thermodynamics for 3 years why a LT

so believe me you can give me NO education on thermodynamics

the fact is the 2nd law refers to a closed system. either the universe on WHOLE (which is a closed system) or some other closed system as a subset of the universe

and a closed sytem is one there no mass or energy comes or goes into the system. and guess what-- as long as the sun supplies energy and mass into the earth the earth isn't a closed system

furthermore even if earth was you are STIL wrong

all the 2nd law requires is that the ALGEBRAIC sum of TOTAL entropy be greater or equal to zero. so one area can become more orderly (as in life) as long as other areas of the system become MORE disorderly at a greater degree (all other nonliving things)

so you are wrong in 2 different ways
