Mike is one of the noblemen of the sport.

I consider PLUSA to still be what the New York Times used to be-the paper of record. It may not strike some as 'readable' but Mike has compiled and saved thousands and thousands of contest results for reference.

If that does not interest you, that's fine, but why submit your own results if preserving them doesn't matter?

Anyway, remove Mike and his contributions via PLUSA, and where would the reference 'book' be? He supplies an important cog.
