I agree, everyone has a bad day, me and Wolfe just happened to have one at the BB4$. I do seem to remember having to wait over 20mins between lifts because of there being 21 lifters in one flight, but that wouldn't have any effect on the lifters would it. As for you thinking that I am the type of lifter who can't bench 500 raw but will go for 750+ shirted at a big meet, you are definately wrong about that. I personally was sick, but lifted anyways because I have always wanted to lift at the AC. I opened with a weight I have hit literally dozens of times in training, but it just wouldn't go up. I ended up perforating an eardrum, leaving me bleeding out of my nose and ears. I guess if I am sick next year I just won't show.
It really doesn't seem to me that the lifter is taken into consideration at all, just the money to be made off of the lifters. Your the guy encouraging the lifters go for insanely high weights and then you go on a rant about how the bombouts (from going for insane amounts of weight) are hurting the sport. I love lifting in the WPO, and hope to one day be lifting on the stage at the AC, but the way the lifters are treated is discouraging.
A lot of people have been talking crap about all the guys bombing at the BB4$, all I have to say to that is why don't you lift there this year and show all of us how it is done?
