I recently competed in a meet with Barbara at the Push Pull Nationals in October. She was a fierce competitor and a beautiful woman. She always had nice things to say about my lifting and we joked on the phone about what weight classes we were going to enter so as to avoid each other! She mentioned not feeling well lately and said she had been on medication which had caused her to gain weight. She did really well in the meet and I believe set some new Master's records. We even got drug tested together. May she rest in peace-I know she will be one hell of a meet director in Heaven!
