Just a quick message about Herb. I called him today and was happy to hear how well he sounded, although according to him he "sounds better than he feels" He was very lucent and talked at length about the good old days and in great detail, but like a lot of stroke victims has some problems with short term memory. If you didnt know he had a stroke, you wouldnt guess it by his voice, he sounded great. He was very happy to hear from all of you who have called and expressed your concerns. The prognosis is good for long term recovery but it will take the better part of a year and rehab work galore.
